ABOUT ME
I’m Kat Walker –> an artist and photographer based in Pennsylvania + Virginia. Always inspired by nature, I spend most of my creative time making an ever-evolving body of vibrant, neo-folk paintings that blend maximalist style, electric color, and organic elements.

My artwork is a celebration of color and shape! Drawing inspiration from my Appalachian roots and a lifelong love of the natural world, I create vibrant pieces that let my inner child sing with joy ☺ Working through the hard parts of life shapes my work and helps me heal. Graphic design is where it all started for me. Since 2010, I’ve been making bold, illustrative work for global companies, small businesses, nonprofit orgs, local governments, and everything in between!

I love capturing the beauty and mystery hidden in overlooked places and moments. I’m drawn to crumbling or abandoned buildings, resilience in nature, solemn tranquility of cemeteries, vibrancy of city life, intricate details of architecture, and whimsical artistry that surrounds us every day. My photography is about finding the extraordinary in the ordinary and sharing that unique perspective.
